Abstract

Current methodologies for topographic processing in Peruvian underground mines can be improved. Underground topography modules can be found in the market within the framework of specialized mining software that integrates and automates topographic processing, reporting and data management. 

This seamless process ensures accurate deliverables (solids with volume, plans and reports). In addition, it allows to reduce the processing time, which can be used to enhance the level of detail of the topographic survey and perform a correct data management.

In conclusion, the specialized topographic tools of mining software can offer a substantial improvement in terms of quality of deliverables, execution time and data management.
