Por: André Basilio Vela, departamento de Investigación y Desarrollo, Resemin.AbstractThis article describes the development of a laser alignment system in a Resemin-branded Raptor 55-2R equipment used in underground mining, in order to contribute to the blasting process efficiency. One of the critical points in drilling will always be precision, which can increase the efficiency of blasting. Parallel drilling is a main requirement for the bench drilling mining method. Developing a system to monitor and control this activity is a necessity since a large percentage of mines still perform these activities manually.A system will be designed that will obtain the deviation values of each degree of freedom of the long drill by using Encoders, and then a processing will be done using a robotics algorithm such as Denavit-Hartenberg to describe the kinematics and then find the desired points to drill that will be displayed on a monitoring screen. The Denavit-Hartenberg algorithm will make it possible to understand the direct kinematics of the arm in order to later find the inverse kinematics of the arm.Finally, simulation tests will be performed to verify that the equations found are the most appropriate for each case.
