Abstract

This paper aims to show the status quo of circular economy in Peru and its implementation in the industrial mining sector. Although it is true that the adoption of this practice, as a strategy to promote industrial productive development, is new in the country, it is important to emphasize that mining has already been working for more than a decade on the principles on which it is based, since it is required by its own sector and national environmental regulations. Now what we have to do is work on the integration of these actions in order to achieve circularity.
